Description
Gravitational Chern-Simons (gCS) Lagrangian terms appear in low-energy effective actions coming from superstring theories and are used as phenomenological extensions of general theory of relativity. Although they have topological origin, gCS terms contribute to the equations of motion with generalized Cotton tensor. However, it will be shown that this tensor identically vanishes for "simple" metrics, thus leaving non-trivial effects to the "complicated" cases. Furthermore, presence of gCS Lagrangian terms makes contribution to the black hole entropy and, similar to the equations of motion, these corrections are visible only with highly "asymmetrical" black holes.
