Heavy-ion collisions in Large Hadron Collider show collective phenomena due to the presence of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). Similar behaviour was observed in proton-proton collisions with high final-state multiplicity, though the energy in these collisions is not sufficient to produce QGP. One of the possible explanations of this behaviour is the presence of multiple parton interaction (MPI) processes, the influence of which was already shown in simulations. The talk concentrates on the methods of studying the MPI effect via the analysis of the data collected in the LHC ALICE experiment.
